Every winter sport imaginable occurs here on
Donner Summit. Downhill skiing, cross-country
skiing and snow boarding are minutes away at
Sugar Bowl, Soda Springs, Donner Ski Ranch,
Royal Gorge and Boreal. Sugar Bowl Ski resort
and Soda Springs can be accessed by a free
shuttle and we have ski in\ ski out access to
Donner Ski Ranch. Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows
and Northstar Ski Resorts are within easy driving
distance.
Spring, Summer and Fall Recreation:
Warm days and cool nights make Summer very
enjoyable here in the Sierra Nevada Mountains.
An array of outdoor adventures can be enjoyed
including mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing,
boating, water skiing, canoing, river rafting, fishing, swimming and sailing.
If you want adventure, Lake Tahoe is the place, Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. The Cal Lodge offers a central point with a warm fireplace to access all the recreation in the Lake Tahoe area.
